About the event
The world is ageing fast. We know one in four Singaporeans will be over 65 by 2030. Among adults aged 85 and over, 87% are pre frail or frail and about half have cognitive impairment
Yet the local statistics, though sobering, need not be destiny.
The deepest dignity is to restore an elder's calling; the deepest injustice is to act as if they have nothing left to give.
Against this backdrop, the talk reframes ageing from decline to discipleship. It sets out four marks of the Silver Saint: the Rise, the Road, the Responsibility, and the Resolve.
We welcome all seniors’ ministry leaders, pastors and those serving seniors to join us as we look at both faith and science and discuss together how we can reimagine our approach for our senior ministries to build up our seniors!
